Drug Awareness Seminars





  • Drug Identification for Parents Seminar. This is a 4-hour session on recognizing drug use and the paraphernalia related with various drugs. Current drug trends are also discussed along with the signs and symptoms associated with drug use. What every parent needs to know about the changing face of drug use before it’s too late.

  • Advanced Drug Identification for Parents. This is an 8-hour course that provides much greater detail involving the methods of ingestion of various drugs. How and why drugs affect the body, hands-on room and/or vehicle searches are conducted to assist participants in recognizing indicators and paraphernalia associated with drug use.

  • Drug Identification for Medical Professionals. This 8-hour course is designed specifically to train doctors, nurses, hospital personnel, first responders, EMTs, paramedics, and firefighters, in recognizing the abuse of over-the-counter drugs, prescription medications, street drugs, and a variety of other substances. In depth discussions will take place on the physiology of the body and the affects various drugs will have on clinical signs and symptoms and other bodily functions.

  • Recognizing Drug Use in the Workplace. This one-day seminar is designed to prepare the corporate management employee to meet the challenges and legal boundaries posed to them by employees that use/abuse drugs; provide recognition of the physical signs and symptoms along with the paraphernalia associated with drug use; assist in developing polices encompassing all legal and illegal substances; and provide a safe working environment for all employees while reducing liabilities and accidents.
